Swindlehurst, Arkholme Melling, Kirkby Lonsdale' but incorrectly addressed with manuscript 'Misdirected to' and alongside fine strike 'KIRBY LONSDALE' date stamp SP 1 1847 and re-directed to 'Gunnerthwaite Lancaster'. On reverse good strike over flap 'HORNBY-LANC' udc in green (LA535) but Country Catalogue only records red usage in 1842-43. Fine usage. (Ref 138164).
