1782 MAIL WALTHAM TO LONDON WITH 'GRIMSBY' HAND STAMP (LI448). Letter from Waltham dated May 21st 1782 to 'Robt Chester Esq, Brick Court, Temple, London', charged '4', filing punch hole on front. On reverse good to fine strike 'GRIMSBY' straight line hand stamp in black (LI448), only recorded County Catalogue 1776. Letter references Queen Anne's Bounty concerning Trinity College and a stipend for Langford Rectory. (Ref 137459).
