1842 PART WRAPPER HORNBY, LANCS TO KIRKBY LONSDALE WITH 1D (SG8) AND 'HORNBY-LANC' UDC (LA535). 1842 part wrapper, no side flaps, from Hornby to 'Mr Roper, Solicitor, Kirkby Lonsdale' with 1d (SG8) lettered HI, just touched at lower right cancelled fine strike Lancaster Maltese cross. On reverse good strike 'HORNBY-LANC' udc in red (LA535) and 'KIRBY LONSDALE' date stamp in blue JY 20 1842. Filing folds clear of stamp and hand stamps. (Ref 137138).
