Used 1851 1d imperforate pl.118 (SG8) lettered KB with FAKED PERFORATIONS, presumably to 'create' a 1d Archer experimental issue (SG16b), particularly as a small number of genuine Archer perforations are cancelled with the '29' numeral of Ashburton in blue, as is this stamp. UNUSUAL! (Ref 137030).
