Mourning envelope from Wray, Lancs to 'Geo Bennington Esq, 18 Montague Street, Russell Square, London' with die 1 1d (SG17), corner fault, tied '436' numeral of Lancaster. On reverse good strike of the scarce 'WRAY' udc in black (LA1356) and 'LANCASTER' date stamp NO 10 1854. (Ref 136977).
