Fine letter from Bentham to 'Mefsrs Greggs, K Lonsdale' with 1d (SG8) lettered QJ, touched at upper right otherwise fine margins and tied fine strike '436' numeral of Lancaster. On reverse fine strike (over flap) 'BENTHAM' udc in red (YK283) and 'LANCASTER' date stamp JY 29 1844. (Ref 136953).
