1844 MAIL USED IN LONDON WITH 1D PL.22 (SG8)(RG) 'St. James: St' RECEIVERS HAND STAMP (L514/STJA26). Letter, some faults, used in London from St James' to Lincolns Inn with 1d pl.22 (SG8) lettered RG, touched at left, tied fine strike London Maltese cross. On front good strike 'St. James: St' receivers hand stamp in black (L514/STJA26), filing fold affects. On reverse London date stamp JA 31 1844. (Ref 135370).
