1847 MAIL USED IN LONDON WITH 2D PL.3 (SG14)(BA) AND 'Piccadilly-C.O' RECEIVERS HAND STAMP (L514/PICC03). Large part wrapper used in London to 'G. H. Pinckard Esq, 99 Great Rufsell Street, Bloomsbury Square' with 2d blue pl.3 (SG14) lettered BA, very close but just clear at right tied light strike London '55' District Office numeral. Alongside good strike 'Piccadilly-C.O' straight line receivers hand stamp in black (L514/PICC03) and on reverse London date stamp NO 8 1847. Also very fine contemporary print 'PICCADILLY, FROM COVENTRY STREET', 177 x 127. (2 items) ex Michael Champness collection. (Ref 134847).
