1849 MAIL USED IN LONDON WITH 'GT PORTLAND ST' RECEIVERS HAND STAMP (L514/GTPO16). Envelope used in London, addressed to Lincolns Inn Field with 1d (SG8) lettered DB, just touched upper left and tied London '60' District Office numeral. Alongside fine strike 'GT PORTLAND ST' receivers hand stamp in black with no line under 'T' (L514/GTPO16). On reverse London date stamp AP 27 1849. (Ref 134456).
