Mourning envelope, some creasing, from Grantham to 'Mr John White, Grayingham Rectory, Kirton in Lindsey' with die 2 1d pl.40 red-brown on blued paper (SG29) lettered OC, slight imperfections, tied good strike 'GRANTHAM/321' sideways duplex type II MR 3 1857. On reverse good strike of the scarce 'KIRTON.LINDSEY' double ring date stamp MR 4 1857 in blue. (Ref 131408).
