1851 MAIL LEEDS TO SKIPTON WITH 1D PL.105 (SG8)(MJ) AND 'EAST-ST' LOCAL HAND STAMP. Envelope, slight imperfections, from Leeds to 'Mr John Green, Coal Merchant, Silsden, Skipton' with fine 1d pl.105 (SG8) lettered MJ with fine four margins and tied '447' numeral of Leeds. On reverse fine strike 'EAST-ST' local hand stamp of Leeds in dark blue and 'LEEDS' date stamp in pale blue AP 29 1851. The local hand stamp unrecorded in County Catalogue. (Ref 131245).
