1929 REPRINT IN BLACK OF BOGARDUS 1839 TREASURY COMPETITION ESSAY. A good example of the 1929 reprint of the 1839 Treasury Competition essay by Bogardus in black on white glazed paper (49x66) with side profile of the young Queen Victoria at centre within an engine turned type background. Vertical filing fold at right but these 1929 reprints, believed done by the Royal Philatelic Society are the only examples available to collectors. (Ref 130478).
