1841 LARGE PART WRAPPER GODSTONE, SURREY TO REIGATE WITH MANUSCRIPT 'X POST'. Large part wrapper Godstone in Surrey 'To George Morrison Esqre, Reigate, Surrey' with 1d (SG8) lettered OE, cut into several places, tied light strike black Maltese cross of Godstone. On front manuscript 'X Post' denoting local delivery rather than via London and good to fine strike boxed 'No.2' receiving house hand stamp of Limpsfield. On reverse 'GODSTONE' date stamp NO 11 1841.
