1833-1837 FREE FRONTS FROM DORCHESTER WITH 'NO.3' RECEIVING HOUSE HAND STAMP. Two free fronts from Dorchester dated 17th November 1833 and 2nd April 1837 to Herefordshire and Chester respectively, each charged '1' Penny Post and on front good to fine strikes of the boxed 'No.3' receiving house mark showing the gradual wear of the outer frame. Free franks signed by 'Williams' M.P. for Dorchester 1812-1840 and 'Lord Ashley' M.P. for Dorsetshire 1831-1840 respectively. (2 items). (Ref 129003).
