Wrapper, some creasing from Lyme Regis to Axminster dated October 30th 1857 with die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered EJ tied '484' numeral of Lyme, redirected to Yealhampton, Devon with postal charge of '1'. On reverse LYME and AXMINSTER date stamps OC 31 1857 and YEALHAMPTON date stamp NO 2 1857. Fine printed content 'Mrs. Jerrard respectfully invites the Ladies of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and their vicinities, to an inspection of her Show Room, which will be open on Wednesday next, November 4th, with every Novelty in Millinery, Mantles adapted to the present season.'
