Free front from Holkham Hall, Norfolk and mailed from the Post Office within Holkham Hall to 'Mr Brisbane, Purfleet, Romford Efsex' dated September 17 1839, on front good strike CROWN/FREE date stamp 18 SP 1839 and good to fine strike 'Romford/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (EX400). Signed 'Leicester' at lower left, Earl of Leicester. (Ref 125170).
