1842 MAIL KINGSTON TO LONDON WITH 1D (SG8) WITH MARGINAL INSCRIPTION AND 'T.P/KINGSTON' HAND STAMP. Letter from New Kingston to 'Mr Parker, Solicitor, St. Pauls Church Yard London' with 1d (SG8) lettered KL, touched at left but otherwise good margins and with fine MARGINAL INSCRIPTION AT RIGHT, tied fine strike Kingston black Maltese Cross. Some soiling at left but on front very fine strike 'T.P/Kingston' Twopenny Post hand stamp in black used as a receiver. On reverse London date stamp AU 31 1842. (Ref 124480).
