1853-4 1D PL.163 MATCHED PAIR LETTERED CA 1D IMPERF (SG8) ON COVER AND 1D PERF (SG17). Wrapper, without side flaps, from London to Reigate with fine 1d (SG8) pl.163 lettered CA with four close to very large margins, tied London '29' Inland Office numeral, back stamped 4 AP 1853. Matched with used example from the very scarce perforated S.C.16 printing (SG17) lettered CA, perforations trimmed at top and one short perforation at lower right but showing plate wear.
