A good used example of the 'POST OFFICE JUBILEE OF UNIFORM PENNY POST' illustrated 1d envelope in blue, minor faults at top, sent registered mail London to Frankfurt Germany and uprated with 4d Jubilee (SG205) with oval 'REGISTERED/MARK LANE' date stamps 3 JY 90. On reverse FRANKFURT receiver 4 7 90. With fine insert with message in German. Message written on day of the exhibition, 2nd July but mailed next day. (Ref 121241).
