1852 DORSET/'887' NUMERAL OF STALBRIDGE ON ENTIRE TO SHAFTESBURY. Fine entire Stalbridge to 'Mr T Wills Solicitor Shaftesbury' dated June 24 1852 with 1d (SG8) just touched at lower left otherwise good margins lettered PJ, tied very fine strike '887' numeral of Stalbridge. This numeral rated 'G' (very rare) in Parmenter. On reverse BLANDFORD date stamp JU 25 1852, also light strike STALBRIDGE udc in black. (Ref 119813).
