1833 DORSET/'SHAFTESBURY PENNY POST' HAND STAMP (DT458). Fine letter Marnhull to 'Wills and Burridge Solr. Shaston' (Shaftesbury) dated 14th October 1833 and charged '2'. On front light strike boxed 'Shaftesbury/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (DT458) and good strike boxed 'No.6' receiving house hand stamp of Marnhull in black. (Ref 119660).
