1829 DORSET/'SHERBORNE PENNY POST' HAND STAMP (DT525). Letter used locally in Sherborne addressed to 'Thos. Fooks Esq Solicitor Sherborne' dated Dec 24 1829 and charged '2'. On front fine strike boxed 'No.3' receiving house hand stamp of Queen Camel, on reverse good to fine strike 'SHERBORNE/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (DT525). Filing fold clear of hand stamps.
