Cree Esq Solr 3 Vere Green Building Grays Inn London' cancelled fine to very fine red-orange Maltese Cross of London. On reverse HADLEIGH date stamp AU 10 1840 and London receiver 11 AU 1840. Mulready some soiling and part separation along one fold. Within superb 'HALLETT'S POSTAGE ADVERTISER' 'No.2 - JUNE 24, 1840.' (spec MA15b, ex MA14b).
