1850 'BIRKENHEAD' (CHESHIRE) EMBOSSED ENVELOPE FLAP. Envelope Rugeley to Birkenhead Cheshire with 1d (SG8) lettered BL, touched at top otherwise close to good margins, tied indistinct numeral. On reverse flap fine embossed 'Birkenhead' within frame, RUGELEY date stamp JA 17 1850 and BIRKENHEAD date stamp JA 18 1850. (Ref 117681).
