    1840 DORSET/"BLANDFORD PENNY POST" (DT56). Letter Blandford to Dorchester post paid "1", dated 26 June 1840 and on front fine strike unframed "No.7" receiver's hand stamp of Iwerne Minster in red. On reverse fine strike "BLANDFORD/26 JU 1840/PY POST" hand stamp in red (DT56). Latter hand stamp much scarcer in red than black. (Ref 113024).
