1830 DORSET/"BLANDFORD PENNY POST" (DT54). Fine letter Sturminster Newton to Dorchester dated 9 July 1830, charged "6" and on front superb strike boxed "No.1" receiver's hand stamp of Sturminster. On reverse fair strike "BLANDFORD/Penny Post" hand stamp in black (DT54) and BLANDFORD date stamp JY 9 1830. (Ref 111075).
