1837 YORKS/BRIGHOUSE PENNY POST (YK585). 1837 wrapper used locally in Halifax with ms "1" postal charge and on front good to fine strike "Brighouse/Penny Post" hand stamp in an unusual pale blue ink (YK585) and on reverse HALIFAX date stamp JY 24 1837. (Ref 105109).
