Parcel tag sent registered mail London to "District Bank Limited...Manchester" with red-brown EXPRESS/DELIVERY label and franked with fine 2/6 yellow-green (SG476b) and 2d pale orange (SG488) cancelled fine strike REGISTERED/THREADNEEDLE ST oval date stamp 9 SEP 49. Usual creasing but clear of stamps. (Ref 104154).
