On reverse one very fine and one good strike 'CLAPHAM-LANC' udc in green (YK675) and 'KIRBY LONSDALE' date stamp in blue SP 21 1844. Whilst Clapham is geographically in North Yorkshire it fell under the jurisdiction of the Lancaster Post Office. (Ref 137122).
