1821 PRINTED VERSE FROM CHIPPENHAM TO BISHOPS CANNINGS, WILTS WITH 'CHIPPENHAM/96' MILEAGE MARK. A very fine and poetic written verse 'Written after the Consecration of the New Church at Kingswood, by the Bishop of Gloucester, on the 11th of September, 1821'. Addressed to 'Revd Mr Macdonald, Bishops Cannings, Wilts' charged '7' and on reverse over flap good strike 'CHIPPENHAM/96' type 30 mileage mark in black. Fine usage. (Ref 131192).
