Envelope from Makerston to 'Messrs B Browne and Co, British and Foreign Patent Office, 52 King William Street, London Bridge, London' with fine die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered BB and tied light strike '193' numeral of Kelso. On reverse very fine strike 'MAKERSTON' type E1 Scots local back stamp in blue and 'KELSO' date stamp SE 2 59 in same colour. (Ref 136679).
