Envelope, some creasing from France to 'Mr. Thomas Price, Secretary of the Abergavenny Society, Crickowell, Breconshire, Angleterre' with post paid '90', very high rate and on front fine to very fine strike 'FOREIGN PAID' boxed convex hand stamp in red (L1074). Also on front 'MACON' date stamp 27 SEPT 1838 in black, small boxed rectangular 'PD' hand stamp and London PAID date stamp OC 1 1838, both in red. Good usage. (Ref 128345).
