Envelope with letter Great Malvern to 'Miss Denham, 100 Bermondsey St, Southwark, London' 1d (SG8), touched in several places tied fine strike '497' numeral of Great Malvern. On reverse 'GREAT MALVERN' date stamp JU 1 1847 and very fine wafer seal black on grey 'Without carefulness'. Letter of a very religious nature criticising the Wesleyan movement and praising the Plymouth Brethren. Good usage. (Ref 143881).
