Envelope from Halifax to 'Thomas Pease, South Parade, Leeds' with 1d (SG8) lettered BI, touched all sides, tied fair strike Halifax Maltese cross, also on front fair to good strike 'Brighouse/Penny Post' hand stamp in blue (YK585) and 'LEEDS' date stamp AP 26 1842. On reverse 'HALIFAX' date stamp AP 25 1842 and fine wafer seal in blue-green and white depicting flowers. (Ref 133318).
