1845 MAIL BRIGHTON TO LEEDS 1d (SG8) ON REVERSE HERALDIC WAFER SEAL. Fine entire letter Brighton 3rd May 1845 to 'The Revd Edward Maxwell, 13 Park Place, Leeds' with 1d (SG8), clipped corners tied '132' numeral of Brighton. On front 'LEEDS' date stamp MY 5 1845, on reverse 'BRIGHTON' date stamp MY 4 1845 and good large part wafer seal grey on blue embossed with Heraldic images, unfortunately damaged when opened.
