1890 POST OFFICE JUBILEE, 1D BLUE ENVELOPE REGISTERED MAIL TO KIEL, GERMANY. Good example of the 1890 Post Office Jubilee 1d blue envelope, several tone spots, sent registered mail after the Exhibition from Eastbourne to Kiel, North Germany. Envelope cancelled 'COMPTON ST. EAST/EASTBOURNE' date stamp DE 9 90, on reverse 1½d (SG198) and 2d (SG200) Jubilee issue with same cancellation, alongside 'KIEL' date stamp 12.12.90. (Ref 134159).
