NAVAL MAIL. 1869 envelope to Mrs Alleyne Bath England inscribed 'Officers Letter' with 6d lilac tied (SG 104) lettered IE cancelled '466' numeral of Liverpool with LIVERPOOL date stamp 29 JU 69. Sent by Lt. Alleyne serving on HMS Myrmidon which at this time was at Sierra Leone, West Africa. Very scarce usage. (Ref 54814).
