Africa' with vertical pair 3d rose (SG76) lettered LI MI tied good to fine strikes 'W.C./18' London numerals. Stamps would have originally overlapped edge of envelope which has now been refolded to protect stamps, stamps not affected by filing fold. On front fine strike handstamp '1d' in red in respect of local postage charge and on reverse 'SIERRA LEONE' date stamp AU 10 1864. Very scarce usage. (Ref 143423).
