A fine example of the blue insert card, postally used from the South Kensington Exhibition to 'Mr L S Wells, Hurstfield, The Avenue, Gipsy Hill, S.E' with fine ½d vermilion (SG197) tied very fine large part strike 'PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE/V CROWN R/2.JY.90/SOUTH KENSINGTON' circular hand stamp. The insert card itself did not pay postage which should have been 1d, this card postage underpaid. (Ref 133985).
