Example of the 1877 £1 telegraph brown-lilac lettered AC with watermark three Shamrocks in a paler shade than usually seen, overprinted 'SPECIMEN' type 11 (T17s/L236s). Overprint has been part covered by a horizontal barred cancellation status unknown but looks genuine to us. (Ref 144074).
