Description
1841 1D RED PL.2 (SG7)(JA)(SG7)/CREWKERNE SKELETON (SO421). Small piece with fine used 1841 1d red pl.2 (SG7) lettered JA with fine four margins tied fine strike black Maltese cross. Stamp shows absence of ray flaws NW square and fine constant variety 'BASE OF A SQUARE DOUBLE' (Spec AS18f and AS18k). Alongside CHARD date stamp MR 11 1842 and good large part strike of the very scarce CREWKERNE skeleton (SO421) MR 11 1842 with '+' below. (Ref 85987).
