Letter from Bath to 'Mefsrs Attree and Company, Solicitors, Brighton' dated May 15th 1844 with 1d (SG8) lettered CB, touched at top, tied fine strike '53' barred numeral of Bath. On reverse BATH date stamp MY 15 1844 and London and BRIGHTON date stamps MY 16 1844. The Bath numeral first recorded use 2nd May 1844, this being an early usage. (Ref 128454).
