A good used 1d Mulready envelope, stereo A161, used within the county of Rutland from Uppingham to 'Mifs Walker, Stockerston, Near Uppingham' and cancelled good strike red Maltese cross of Uppingham. On reverse 'UPPINGHAM' date stamp JU 28 1840, overall toning but very few Mulready envelopes have been recorded from Rutland or used within the county. (Ref 129358).
