1944 ½D SILVER JUBILEE GERMAN PROPAGANDA FORGERY. A superb 'used' 1944 ½d German propaganda forgery based upon the design of the British King George V ½d Silver Jubilee stamp (SG453) but with the head of Stalin and inscription 'THIS IS A JEWSH WAR'. Cancelled fine strike of the 'LONDON/SPECIAL-STAMP/AAAO' (Allied Army Amphibian Operation) hand stamp dated 6 JUN 44 (D Day!). (Ref 133352).
