Fine unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint Valentine 'Temperance' envelope in black on blue wove paper showing the Goddess of Temperance receiving homage, at lower left are images of drunkenness with inscription 'DELIVER US FROM EVIL'. Upon a banner inscription reads 'MAINE LAW' referring to the banning of liquor in this U.S. state. (Ref 143840).
