Upton Esq, Apothecarie's Hall, Union St, Blackfriars, London' uprated with fine to very fine 1d red pl.14 (SG8) lettered LI tied/cancelled fine strikes black Maltese crosses of Beverley. On reverse 'BEVERLEY' date stamp DE 7 1841 and London date stamp 8 DE 1841. Stamp shows 'L' misplaced, double bottom and doubling of 'I' square'. Very fine usage. (Ref 144471).
