1908 UNDELIVERED MAIL EX MIDDLESBROUGH. Envelope used locally in Middlesbrough with KEDVII ½d cancelled MIDDLESBROUGH FE 7 08 with ms "Gone Away" and boxed "Undelivered for reason stated..." cachet. Also boxed "½d/POSTAGE DUE FOR RETURN TO SENDER" and fine strike of a straight line "MIDDLESBROUGH" instructional mark which we have not seen before. (Ref 103950).
