    1848 MAIL BARNSLEY, YORKS TO SAXMUNDHAM 1D PL.69 (SG8) CONSTANT VARIETY, BOXED 'MIS-SENT/TO/SHEFFIELD' HAND STAMP (YK2672). Fine wrapper Barnsley to 'Henry Southwell, Saxmundham, Suffolk' with 1d (SG8) pl. 69 lettered JE, cut into, tied '49'numeral of Barnsley.  Stamp shows very fine constant variety 'MARK 'J' SQUARE' (Spec BS58b). Letter missorted with fine strike boxed 'MIS-SENT/TO/SHEFFIELD' handstamp type DD (YK2672) in blue. (Ref 142147).
