1845 1D PL.53 (SG8)(SJ) ON DATED PIECE. Small piece with fine to very fine 1845 1d pl.53 (SG8) lettered SJ with four very fine margins and tied fine strike '878' numeral of Wigan. On reverse 'WIGAN' date stamp JY 30 1845, also light strike skeleton date stamp of Burnley? (Ref 140917).
