Small piece fine used 1841 1d pl.17 (SG8) lettered SJ, four fine margins, tied fine strike of black Maltese cross that clearly shows distortion, particularly to inner portion. The Dursley cross partly discredited but this example supported by BPA cert.13973 (1984) signed by A. R. Alcock. (Ref 150122).
